Education based on the anthroposophical image of the human being stimulates development from early childhood through to adolescence. Educational and didactic methods support the children in their individual phases of development. Children and young people are looking for experience-oriented relations with the world, with others and with themselves. This is always taken into account at every level, physical, mental and spiritual.

Creative and artistic activities play an important role at all ages. In pursuing and reaching specific learning targets personal development is fostered. Waldorf or Steiner schools keep children of the same age on one class level without selection, thus providing unique opportunities for social education. Teamwork capacities, imagination and network thinking are developed.

Education based on anthroposophy places children at the centre. It gives them courage and confidence in the face of difficulties and change.
